Shrimad Bhagavad Gita for Android v2.1 is available

Happy Shri Ram Navmi to everyone.

Version 2.1 of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita for Android app is now live on Android Market. It is available in both Hindi and English. It is now integrated with various social websites like Twitter™ and Facebook™. App may now be used offline and it comes with a new "Shlok a Day" widget to help you read Gita every day.

It has English language support with translation, meaning and ISO-15919 transliteration for all the 700 Sanskrit verses of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. ISO-15919 is the international standard for the transliteration of Devnagri script.

What's New!
As per popular request following new features have been added:
  1. New "Shlok a Day" widget. You can now read Gita ji from your Home screen.


  2. Integration with social websites like Twitter™ and Facebook™. You can now share your favorite App and Shloks with your family and friends. To use, click on button to the right of Next (Agala) button.


  3. New offline mode.

  4. Lots of other improvements.

  1. Love the application and really appreciate that you provide it for free. I have just one suggestion, I don't know if you have control over the ads that appear but some of them are irrelevant, misleading and deragotory.. When you are reading gita you don't want to see an ad about a dating website for sure. Hope this problem can be solved.

    Thanks for using Gita ji. Like I said in its Preface, how can someone charge for this invaluable knowledge. God Shri Krishna didn't charge us nor did Maharishi Ved Vyas ji.

    As for your suggestion, some of the Ads publishing is out my control but I will definitely see what I can do. Thanks.
